EVERYONE GETS A SHOT
The Fair Shot Foundation gives underprivileged children an opportunity to access sports.
We want to give everyone a "fair shot" at sports.
About Us
Fair Shot Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to giving underprivileged children an opportunity to access sports (particularly golf). It was born out of the desire to share the wonderful sport of golf with those who may not have regular access to the sport.
Founder Kaiya would play golf with her school golf club at the Heroes Course in West Los Angeles and fell in love with the sport. What isn’t there to love about it? She loved being outside, enjoyed a little healthy competition while having fun with her friends. At the same time, she recognized the privilege she had to be exposed to the sport at a young age.
As a grandchild and great-grandchild of veterans, Kaiya saw a way for her to give back to our veterans and share her love of sports.
In connection with the Bandini Foundation Heroes Golf Course, Fair Shot Foundation connects the children and grandchildren of veterans with access to golf equipment, lessons and rounds of golf.
In the Bag
Have old equipment or clubs? Donate them! Even if they are not youth sizes, we can trade your old clubs in for youth clubs for the kids!
Golf Clinics &
Golf Academy
Golf Clinics
We partner with the Heroes Golf Course to sponsor beginner golf clinics where kids learn the basics - from how to hold a club to playing a round of golf! It’s a great way to spend a morning, make new friends and ending with a great lunch!
The more the merrier! We would love to have you join us at our next clinic!
Summer Golf Academy
We plan to use donations to support children at the LA Golf Academy. What better way to spend the summer than outside hitting the links! Children are able to use the academy to improve their skills and gain confidence in their golf game.
